​For some strange and unknown reason, my dad thought it would be wise to buy me a set of drums for Christmas 8 years ago. After my mum finally came down from the ceiling, I actually enjoyed it and with lessons from a top bloke that I will admire forever (as he turned my erratic noise into controlled sound), I became quite good at bashing the drums.

Met up with a few fellow musicians from Pendle, where we agreed to enter a battle of the bands competition for our 1st live event, and won….. so with cash in our pocket from prize winnings, we thought that we could do more……  In 2018, I successfully completed 60 band gigs as a drummer (pubs, clubs, events, parties, festivals) plus 30 acoustic gigs as a duo (wine bars, gin bars, lots of other types of bars…… where I usually play Cajon and percussion pad).

My music writing also started to grow and I enjoy all aspects of recording, mixing and mastering working with various genres of music. I also have experience in post-production for music and video.

Jamaica – great music, with fun getting down with the dub !

Drums, with a smattering of guitar, bass, keyboard – I’m also awesome on the didgeridoo

Royal Blood, so simple but loud which annoys my mum

BeatHerders, especially when I stayed in the musicians area

Musical life highlight so far ?
Playing main stage at Darwen Live 2017, although my dad was more impressed with T’Pau (whom I still don’t know….!)
